We specialize in sport climbing, top-rope routes.
How long does a climbing trip last?
Typically, half-day (3–4 hours).
Is there a weight limit for climbing?
Most of our equipment limitations are followed by these values: waist circumference:115 cm thigh circumference: 65 cm. If you’re unsure, just contact us and we’ll find the best option for you.

FAQ’s

Paragliding

Do I need any prior flying experience?
No, tandem paragliding is beginner-friendly. Your pilot takes care of everything—just run a few steps at takeoff and enjoy the flight.
What does it feel like to paraglide?
It’s like floating on air. Gentle, quiet, and incredibly scenic.
How long is the flight?
Flight time depends on weather and location, but most tandem flights last between 10 to 20 minutes.
Can I bring a camera or phone?
For safety reasons, we recommend using a secured action cam. We offer in-flight photo/video memories.
What should I wear?
Dress in layers—long pants, a windbreaker or light jacket, and hiking boots – we may need to cancel or postpone your flight if you arrive without the required gear. Paragliding involves takeoffs and landings on uneven terrain, so appropriate footwear and clothing are essential. It’s cooler in the air than on the ground.
What if I’m afraid of heights?
Surprisingly, many people who fear heights enjoy paragliding. The smooth motion and lack of visual reference to the ground can make it feel very natural.
Can I eat before flying?
Yes, we recommend eating something light at least an hour before your flight. Avoid heavy meals or alcohol right before flying to stay comfortable in the air.
Is it possible to get motion sickness during the flight?
Yes it is possible—especially if you’re prone to motion sickness. Let your pilot know if you’re feeling unwell and they’ll adjust the flight to make it as smooth as possible.
Is paragliding affected by weather?
Very much so. Flights are entirely weather-dependent. Wind speed, direction, and visibility must be just right. If the conditions aren’t safe, we’ll reschedule or offer a refund.

FAQ’s

Canyoning

Do I need to know how to swim?
Basic swimming ability helps, but we provide flotation gear and the guide will assist you through all water sections, just make sure you let us know before the first pool.
What should I bring?
Bring a swimsuit, towel, and dry clothes for after the activity. We’ll provide wetsuits, helmets, harnesses, and canyoning shoes.
Can kids do canyoning?
Yes, we have family-friendly canyoning (Level 1) tours designed for children aged 6 and up, with easy jumps and shallow waters.
What about the jumps—are they mandatory?
Not at all. Every jump has an alternative way down—either a walk or a rappel. Your guide will always offer options.
How long does a canyoning tour last?
Most tours range from 3 to 5 hours depending on the canyon that you choose. We’ll let you know exact timing when you book.
Do I need to be very fit to go canyoning?
Not necessarily, we offer canyoning routes for all levels. A basic level of fitness and comfort in the water and hiking is helpful, but you don’t need to be an athlete.
Is the water cold?
It can be, depending on the season and location, but we provide thick neoprene wetsuits, socks, and gloves when needed to keep you warm and comfortable all the way.
Can I wear glasses or contact lenses?
Yes, but with caution. If you wear glasses, we recommend using a secure sports strap. Contacts are generally okay, but it’s best to use daily disposables just in case they get wet or washed out. Please note that we are not responsible for any losses.
Can I bring a GoPro or waterproof camera?
Definitely, as long as it’s securely mounted (like a helmet or chest strap). Please note that we are not responsible for any losses.

FAQ’s

Hiking

Will I always see the sunrise?
We can’t guarantee a clear sunrise every day — Madeira’s mountain weather is unpredictable. Some mornings are crystal clear, others misty or dramatic. Even when the sun isn’t fully visible, the early light, atmosphere, and landscape still make for a beautiful and memorable experience
Where do we meet for the tour?

We meet at the end point of the hike, where you’ll leave your car. From there, your guide will drive you up to Bica da Cana for the sunrise. Exact meeting instructions are provided after booking.

No, hotel transfers are not included. Guests meet us directly at the trail’s end before sunrise. If you need transport, we’re happy to recommend local taxi options.
